Embroidery

Nearly every order we process requires some form of garment decoration and embroidery is still the most popular method. The process is so quick, looks great on any item and is so cost effective that more & more people are having their workwear, uniforms & accessories embroidered with their company name, club name, or simply a favourite image.

Uniforms Direct make the process of embroidery so easy, simply attach your logo to your order* or send us your logo under separate cover, e.g. by e-mail or send us a letterhead/printout we can accept all the following formats: JPEG, GIF, TIF, PDF. We’ll digitise the logo, sample it and send it to you for approval, either by e-mail or we may sew out the sample. Once approved the logo stays on file for use whenever needed. New orders take around 2-3 weeks from digitising to embroidering the garments and repeat orders take 5-7 working days to complete.

If you don’t have a logo then don’t worry, our design team can assist with ideas to help you decide what your logo should look like. We can embroider almost anywhere on a garment including collars, sleeves, back of neck, etc.

A design set up charge of just £15.00 + vat applies to all new designs thereafter all you pay for is the embroidery, there is a minimum order of 4 pieces and a left breast logo costs just £2.70 + vat. For more information call our sales team FREE on 0800 7319019.

Heatseal Transfers

Heatseal transfers are great for such items as waterproof coats, high visibility garments, caps, bags, etc. but they can also be applied to most garments as an alternative to embroidery, or in combination with embroidery, for example on the back of a garment where an embroidered logo would be too much for the garment to carry.

The transfers we manufacture are permanent, colourful, machine washable and can withstand ironing (iron garment inside out). The minimum amount is 6 pieces and turnaround is very quick.

Some heatseal transfers are too small or too complex for us to make in-house and need to be made by one of our associates. If this applies to your design then the minimum amount is 25 transfers and price varies depending upon size, number of colours & quantity of transfers ordered. Pricing is similar to embroidery with a small design costing £2.70 + vat* and transfers for the back of a garment starting at £3.50 each + vat*. A design set up charge of £15.00 + vat applies to new designs, but if you are having both embroidery and transfers we only make one design set up charge.

Stickers

More & more we are getting asked for stickers for such items as hard hats or tool boxes, etc. These can be manufactured in-house in any quantity required and are so inexpensive and look great adding that finishing touch to your company image, please call us on 0800 7319019 for more details.

Personalised ties & badges

We have the facility to produce embroidered badges, woven badges and woven ties that are specific to your company. Turnaround time is around 6-8 weeks from initial order, minimum quantities may apply and because of the nature of the process we can only quote once we know quantity and style of the design.
